Begin standing with your feet together. Shift your weight onto your left leg. Slowly lift your right leg and place the sole of the foot along the inside of your left leg; anywhere except for the inside of the knee. If this is difficult, simply rest your right heel on the top of your left foot. Open your knee to the right. Inhale and brings your palms together in front of your chest. Balance here or reach your hands toward the sky. Hold the pose for a few breaths. Exhale and release. Change sides.
